Remodeling Your Home

If you plan on remodeling your house I hope you have a great deal of patience. Of course without saying, select your contractor carefully, contractors in general will tell you what you want to hear in order to win your business. We just finished our remodel of about 800 square feet. We were told it would take about 90 days to complete, we finally completed the project 2 days short of seven months. There were times we were severely taken advantage of by our contractor. They would take on small jobs to keep cash flow up and pull workers off our job in order to finish those. I found it interesting our contractor once said, “you’ll learn to hate me” and a truer words were never spoken. I would never remodel again, just sell your house and buy another. For those of you thinking of it remodeling, think long and hard and hope you have a lot of patience.
