To increase your vertical, do the following.

Begin with jumprope. It is by far the best exercise out htere to gain good conditioning at the same ime as speed and quickness in you muscle fibres.
Do this for about 5 minutes.

Continue with the dotdrill to further warm up your legs and get enough blodd circulation.

Pyometrics:
Begin with a few cone drills where you run low and explosively.

Continue with several of the most known box jumps. HAve five in a row and jump in betweenn them using both legs, then with only one leg.

Next, jump on top of the boxes and when you land back on the ground you explode back up as quickly as possible.

You can also do your own variations on these execises.
