Using An Infrared Sauna

February 82010

An infrared sauna is direct heat that heats the body and not the area of air in the room. There is no ultra violet used so there should be no concern in that direction. The concern should be in the direction of your personal health. Not everyone should use either a traditional sauna or the infrared. If you have a heart condition or high blood pressure you should consult your doctor before you use any sort of sauna. Using an infrared sauna is generally ruled by common sense.

Infrared saunas do not get as hot as traditional saunas so wrap a towel around you for comfort and sit on a towel. Drink water before going into the sauna to avoid dehydration.
